Beautiful track and great Phaser FX indeed!

This made me fiddling with the external Phaser FXs i got myself which are e.g. Schwa Oligarc Phaser, Kjaerhus Classic Phaser, Korg MDE-X (from Legacy Collection), Ableton Live 8 Phasers and Synthmaster 2.5 FX version.

So far the Korg MDE-X seems to give the best results from those.

Anyway that Small Stone Phaser seems to be superior.

BTW i found that the Polysix Ensemble in the MDE-X and the Ensemble in Diva sound very similar but Urs already mentioned that it's based on the Polysix.

It's actually exactly the same, 100%. The Kleinstein and the ones used in those two string synths.

Kleinstein is indeed the one of the best phasers in software (I'd say it occupies the second spot in overall versatility and quality of sound), but it cannot even compete with the authenticity of BigRock or a real Small Stone. The depth of sweep is similar but the the color amounts are very different, as well as the range of sweep. And this changes the overall sound. This why BigRock is so versatile, as you can change all these things, where as they are fixed on the Kleinstein and a real Small Stone.

Big Rock is modelled on an MK2 Small Stone btw, which for purists is the holy grail of phasers. MK2 does appear to have a more full bodied sound then the modern MK4s.
