Right.
Basically I am clueless with computer specs, so take pity !!
To get Diva and other AUs to run in 64 bit mode on Logic, is it a case of just unchecking the 32 bit mode on Logic and then all my instruments automatically run in 64 bit mode?
Sorry if this is basic but I honestly havent got a clue.

I'm pretty clueless too, about 64bit, but if your host is a 64bit capable host, then it will "probably" automatically load the 64 bit version of whatever plugin.
As you stated...checking off the 32bit mode though.

Yeah, my MacBook is only a few months old so its definitely 64 bit capable. I just found out how to get Logic running in 64 bit. Wasnt sure if I had to reinstall the instruments I bought which are so far Diva, Zebra 2, Alchemy and Kontakt 5.

When you uncheck "start using 32bit mode" (or so, can't verify on iPad), then Logic runs 64 bit. In that mode Logic will show lists of plugins for 32 bit and 64 bit respectively. IIRC 32 bit plugins require two clicks to open the gui - first the bridge/wrapper opens, then you can open the actual editor.

Cheers. Everything is now in 64 bit except for Geist and running well.Urs wrote:When you uncheck "start using 32bit mode" (or so, can't verify on iPad), then Logic runs 64 bit. Peace,

I only installed it about two weeks ago.
I will sort that out then.
Cheers.
