Hi, I am a bit confused. If I use a fresh instance of ACE the mod wheel controls frequency but the manual says it controls level. It is showing as CC01 which is correct.
Can someone explain this to me?
basic ACE question - mod wheel function

Is a knob moving? That would be an accidental Midi learn. Right click that knob and Midi unlearn it.
By default I think ModWheel controls LFO volume.

Now why didnt I think of that! Cheers urs, you were right, problem sorted. I never use midi learn, I use remote scripts to tweak synths.
