Hi everyone,
just wondering if someone could just clarify a few things for me about Diva...?
Am I right in thinking that the filters and oscillators are modelled on different classic hardware synths? And that you could for example build a patch using the oscillators from an MS20 and a filter from say a moog for example?
Are there any clues in Diva as to what is modelled on what?
I've just listened to the audio demos from bigtone and I have to say I am completely blown away by what I just heard. I'd like to buy it, but just want to know a bit more about it!
Also, I have a core2 quad pc with 4gb ram, is anyone else using Diva on a similar spec machine and if so how is it holding up?!
Thanks
K

Yes. Check the "8 Templates" folder with presets to get the idea.

Thanks guys just wanted clarification before installing the demo.
I was doing my best to try and ignore this one but after hearing those bigtone presets I am pretty much sold on it, sounds absolutely fantastic!

Ok I installed the demo and for projects it is un-usable in devine mode on my machine, but the offline render option solves that problem and even in draft mode this thing sounds amazing.
I think this synth paves the way forward, truly a 'next generation' soft synth. I think if Zebra inherited whatever it is (code?!) that makes Diva sound so good then it would be the ultimate synth! Can you imagine the possibilities?! Can you imagine the waveshaper getting the Diva treatment not to mention all the filters, oscillators, fx modules etc
Well done team U-he, you are pushing things forward, in my opinion it's a landmark in computer-based music software. Top job

Something like this, exactly. Diva is a great step forward. Best vintage VA synth I know. And own.Howard wrote:+1000 at least!grandmasterbird wrote:Credit where credit's due.Urs wrote:Thank you
