Hello fellow synthesists,

Would someone care to aid with this matter that I'd like to use my Zebra+ACE on two computers, desktop+ travel laptop
but as I tried to install Zebra 2.5 on my laptop, (Logic,10.6) got some error..caused by the license is already used in the desktop i presume...
Do u-he plugins only work on one computer? (NI Komplete works on 3)
If so,do I need to ask u-he for another license for travel use?
or what to do..

Tried to search but didnt find info on the matter..

Urs has said in the past that you can install the license on as many computers as you want provided:

1. None of the licenses are used at the same time.
2. You are the only user of the machines.

This means you can install it on your work PC, your home Mac, and your personal Mac laptop with no problems.

However, you can't install it on your shared work PC and the other computers.

In other words, the license is for you. Don't abuse it. :)

Actually, I don't mind if anyone has it running on two computers at the same time. As long as it's him who's using both :)

Yep, I love u-he products and the licensing is very fair and not at all cumbersome. Everyone wins! (even, ahem, extended trials, that get snazzy melting GUIs :hihi: :hihi: )

Oops, missed the error bit - sounds like the infamous permissions problem... Check the thread about Win 7 permissions fix

Urs means this thread: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=306890

I really recommend moving your *.data/ folders elsewhere on your hard drive, someplace like Libraries\Documents\u-he\* and then making shortcuts as described in that thread.

@Urs, this permissions thing is going to be the death of you... :)
