I don't see it posted as a topic: how do you upgrade from M3 UL to M4?

First of all, please note that MuLab 4 is not yet released.
However, to run MuLab 4 UL at this point:
* Download the M4 pre-release from http://www.mutools.com/mulab/cedar
* Insert your M3 UL User Key via MULAB menu -> Insert User License Key, as it's still valid at this point.
and there you go

Do I need to un-install M3 first? Or does M4 overwrite?
Thx

MuLab 3/4 comes in a self-contained zip package.
Simply unzip it to a new folder.
You can have several installations in parrallel, no prob.
If you want to copy your user settings (VST plugins, shortcuts, ...) from M3 to M4 then copy the User/Settins sub-folder from M3 to M4.
Hope this helps. If you have any more questions, just ask.

I we have sessions made with Mulab 3, we must convert them with Mulab 3, if we want to open them in Mulab 4 ? If so, it's safe to keep Mulab 3 on the computer, isn't it ?mutools wrote:MuLab 3/4 comes in a self-contained zip package.

This info will come in the docs when M4 is released.
It's basically a similar story as with earlier versions, cfr http://www.mutools.com/mulab/docs/upgra ... sions.html
M4 opens sessions saved with M3.2.14.
Be sure to make backups of your important sessions!
