Diva's audio engine (demo version) dies in Reaper 64bit

Hi,
Besides of the high CPU consumption (sometimes I'm not even able to play a chord + bass = 5 notes on an Athlon 3.2 GHz Quad Core) Diva makes some problems in Reaper64. From time to time it makes a burst so loud that Reapers auto mute kicks in (this burst is not audible, though. Must be a very short click or something) and then there's no sound anymore. Even when I try some other patches - nada.

There's been similar reports in other hosts. Seems to happen on certain patches. Urs already said he'd look into it once they were back in the office from the holidays.opus_diaboli wrote:Hi,

Seems to be the 64 bit version that is having these problems as far as I can tell (certainly in my experience it has had occasional but non replicable problems of this nature)

Yeah, so far it seems to be contained to 64 bit with a single contradicting report.
Btw. it's Reaper who dies. Just mutes audio on a track when a volume spike goes thru (which may be a healthy precaution).

Sure? I unmute the according track afterwards, of course and usually Reaper goes to normal operation then.Urs wrote:Yeah, so far it seems to be contained to 64 bit with a single contradicting report.

Yep had that happen a couple of times a restart cleared the problem, i was playing with the HS vulcan pigs patch and then every patch selected after was tripping out the REAPER mute.Urs wrote:Yeah, so far it seems to be contained to 64 bit with a single contradicting report.
