Hello,

I'm very interested in purchasing Effectrix. I've read however that you can only set up 12 or 13 patterns. Is this true? What if you wanted to create a hundred patterns? Would I have to load multiple Effectrix's and then turn them off and on when they run out of patterns?

Couldn't we, for instance, use all keys from C-1 to C-9 or something like that?

Thanks!

Just demoing Effectrix. Wanted to know exactly the same thing so did a search and found this thread.

12 patterns is very limiting, especially for what I intend to use it for (Live FX in Ableton).

Is 12 all there is or is there something I've missed ?
If every rule has an exception, then there must be an exception to the rule that every rule has an exception.

I guess 12 it is then.

C0-B9 please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it's limited to 12 because of the easy usage.
If we would allow the full keyboard range, you would always have to investigate on which key you are. With only one octave any C# will call the related pattern.
Anyway i added it as feature reqest to think about a handy solution.
For now you should consider using multiple instances of Effectrix, should be no problem since Effectrix is very CPU friendly.

Yeah, CPU is more or less irrelevant. Live FX is what I'm looking for so CPU use is always fairly low. The only downside to 12 patterns is having to create a separate Midi track for each instance of Effectrix. Multiple octaves would cut down on clutter in Session View.
