Hi

I want to make Saw lead with "plucky filter" , so i have 2 x OSC, im changing the 2x Volume knobs to half (the one under Pan knob), after doing this i have 2 OSC playing, but the Cut Off in VCF section affects only 1 Oscillator.

What's the easiest way to do that?

Post

Patch VCO1 directly to VCF1 and use both output channels. (By default, VCO2 is already patched through VCF2 to channel 2).

I dont know if i understand correctly , but i would like to connect both OSC's to VCO1, i dont want to use 2 separate filters.

Post

Start with the default patch and set the VCO mix knob (Or however it is called) in the mixer section to 50%. That will route both VCOs to the first filter.

I still can hear only first OSC, also next problem is i set the LFO2 on OSC and it doesnt affect it, i dont know why.

Cheers

You don't need to patch any cables to route vco1 and vco2 to vcf1. These two oscillators are pre-patched to the mixer and the mixer is pre-patched to the input of vcf1. Just turn the VCO Mix knob to 12 o'clock to get an equal balance of both oscs.

As far as LFO2 goes... if you want to modulate the frequency of a VCO, you must connect LFO2's output to the input on the VCO that's labeled ADSR2 (I know it's confusing, this indicates that ADSR2 is routed to this input by default). By default LFO2 is patched to the pulse-width input on VCO1.

and.... please read the manual!

Ok thx it helped :)

And about LFO, i have now my VFO modulated by LFO2, but i would also like to modulate VCF cut off by LFO, is there any option to modulate it by LFO3 or something? i guess not? because i want different settings for filter LFO.

There are only two "LFOs" (I put LFOs in quotes because all of the oscillators can be used as LFOs, but only two are located in the LFO section). You can use LFO1 independent of LFO2, you can also use the Ramp generator as an additional LFO. If you want to modulate the VCF with a different LFO than what you're using to modulate the VCO, simply patch LFO1 out to VCO frequency input, LFO2 is pre-patched to the second cutoff input on both VCFs (as indicated by the label on the GUI). If you want to control two modulation destinations with the same LFO, simply drag two cables from the same output. If you want to use two modulation sources on the same modulation destination, you'll need to use one of the mixers at the bottom.

This is all pretty basic stuff, all covered in the manual.
