I have 3 parts within one track (the track set to "Target Module per part"): a lead synth, a bass synth and drums-each set to their own module/rack. I have these parts set to loop two bars and they are overlapping one another with the lead synth part on top, the bass in the middle and the drums on the bottom.
If, for example, I have the drum part selected for editing in the sequencer and I want to switch to the bass part to edit that, clicking on the "Sequence" icon to choose a new sequence (in this case I want to switch to the bass part) actually copies the bass pattern into the drum part. I don't want this. I want to be able to select the actual bass part for editing. How do I go about doing this?
How to select overlapped parts in sequencer view?

Assuming you're talking about MuLab 3 Free, please consider upgrading to MuLab 4 XT or MuLab 4 UL. Then you have more tracks and more sonic power to play with!

I'm using the latest free version. I just downloaded it a couple days ago. Anyhow, even though I have more tracks available, can you still explain how I can select different parts within the sequencer view or is it not possible?mutools wrote:Assuming you're talking about MuLab 3 Free, please consider upgrading to MuLab 4 XT or MuLab 4 UL. If they're 100% overlapping then i don't see a way to select one or another of the overlapping ones.

In Visual Studio, you can right click on the GUI editor and it will list any underlying components that can be selected. Would similar be possible in MULAB?
