I've been researching multi-core support and already got some interesting results but it was too much to get it in MuLab 4. Multi-core support will be top priority for MuLab 5.

Note however that MuLab 4 on Windows is about 30% - 40% more efficient than MuLab 3!

Also note that if you have a double core or more processor, then you do take advantage of the multiple cores as the MuLab UI is running in a different core than the audio processing and so even when doing heavy audio processing, the UI stays quick.

About PDC: Not yet. When MuLab 4 has been released i'll do a poll about the most wanted features. Lets see how high PDC will make it.

as far as multi core, im on mac.
I was thinking about lightweight host for laptop as i used to like mboom.
good luck with the release however, all the best.
PS on PDC: Well you can do manual PDC in Mulab 4 using the Pure Delay module which allows for a straight sample accurate delay. But i guess you mean automatic PDC.

I play live - PDC is of utterly no use as it can't move things back in time to meet me. Any correction then needs doing manually (if at all). I tend to work with minimal plugins that introduce minimal latency. I do quite understand the need for it, though - just not something I do. (Sorry for earlier misdirection, too.)

OK at the risk of sounding flamey - I have MU.LAB and Logic 9 and I endorse them both greatly. One has automatic PDC and the other one hasn't but I honestly can't hear the difference.

Caveat: I'm also kind of minimally minded - never do much audio recording or complex mixing chains in either of them.
