Yes, your soundbank will work properly in UVIWorkstation 2.
We're currently working on it to put back some editing for the soundbanks not using script until they are reworked to support all enhancement brought to the engine.
Multiple outputs is already working in UVIWorkstation 2.
We indeed offer crossgrade to MachFive 3 at a very interesting price but this is absolutely not required.
Still, M5 does bring a lot of new possibilities to existing soundbanks, way beyond what was doable in UVIWorkstation 1, so it might be of interest for some of our users.
Hope this clarify things.
Don't hesitate if you need further information

I can't give you a precise timeline especially with the NAMM show next week but it shouldn't be long (couple of weeks)
AFAIK you're using Logic, so 1.1.7 works fine even in 64bits with the AU wrapper.
So until this update is fine for your needs, 1.1.7 should suit you fine, no ?
Am I missing something ?
Yes you can output different sounds to a different output in the current version of UVIWorkstation 2

I understand your point. Still you're mentioning a bug in Logic not in UVIWorkstation, so I'm not sure you can blame us for that.
Anyway, what really matters is that you're able to work in good condition.
As long as Logic does the right thing. Load the 64bits version of a plugin when there is one available
UVIWorkstation 2 will take the place of the version 1 in your session.
Hope this answers your question.

Make sense. I should have known that, being a developerttoz wrote:it's actually a mac osx UI limitation it is impossible, cubase works the same way, to wrap a 32 bit plugin not to be in a separate process and it cannot be directly incorporated into main host gui, and only one plugin gui can ever be opened at a time.
ttoz wrote:Yes the question is answered but decided i will wait, or somehow steal the money to buy mach 3 promo price.(the steal part was a joke, but i may have to beg someone for it)
Thanks for your support.

I don't usually post much, but after installing UVI Workstation 202. All I have to say is "WOW".
Maybe its just me, but I noticed that when you install a new software, and you immediately hit the forums, something's wrong. I double checked if I did something wrong, or may have missed something. A small detail in which all my editing parameters are missing. Nope, that's the bad part.
To think that's not even the worst of it. I was just commenting to my audio partners that allot of things are getting cheaper in both customization and quality. Then I found out about UVI Workstation 202.
When I loaded up a REX file and hit slice and map, you get only "2" knobs for editing. Seriously, it looks like a nasty joke.
Here in the States we have April Fool's Day. Ok you got me a little early, being January. Enough with the pranks, lets get back to work with this audio business.
I am convinced. UVI Workstation 202 is a prank. Nothing more. Please put back our editing parameters and Hard Drive Browser.
Your hard work is noted and appreciated.

P.S. Good gag you played on us taking away editing features and HD browsing. You rascals.

What a bloody joke! I'm still a bit upset about this whole UVIWorkstation 2 riff raff! UVI have taken the championship belt off NI for "pissing on your own customers"! Talk about devolution!

Honestly, I wonder who's idea it was to strip UVI WS of technically everything. No really, I would like to have been in the same room at the moment they said, "lets take UVI Workstation's features away. Our customers will love it!".
It's like taking away audio recording in Logic or Pro-Tools. This makes it as useless as AMG's crap in a hat "ONE".
All jokes aside, I really do want to know who are the individuals that thought this idea was a good one. I just want to see what a human with that type of logic, looks like.
