Anyone else have a feeling of DejaVu?

I remember when Studio One was first announced. Even before a demo was even available to try the Internet discussion went something like this one...

"They just copied some of Tracktion and some of Cubase. Fail!"
"Cubase will go bankrupt!"
"The DAW market is already too crowded. Fail!"
"A new DAW king in the making! Recognize bitches!
"It'll have to do X before I'd even consider it. Fail!"
"Wow! IT's the best DAW ever!"
"But it doesn't even allow quadruple feedback loops! Basic stuff!"
"Revolutionary! PT is in serious trouble!"
"Drag and drop has been around for 20 years. What a ripoff."

It's interesting how the teams start forming before the thing is even out.

however much it costs, it's healthy: another new generation player to join reaper and studio one - can't beat the smell of fresh code

One thing for sure. "Emotionally invested" Ableton users will be scurrying like rats to get the demo to quickly point out anything and everything potentially wrong with it.

It should be fun.

lol, I don't know what team I'm falling on..

But I'm just looking for a clean GUI and some intuitive workflow that is a 64 bit alternative to FL Studio. This looks like it will be the best option available.

Even if it IS indeed just Live 9. I hope there are some notable improvements to the piano roll.

This is a discussion. I also think it looks like Live. I don't care that it does, but that is what it looks like to me. And of course since there is no demo or further info, there is not much else to talk about but what it looks like since they provided some photos...
