Hi there,
my own sounds in Diva suddenly all sound heavily distorted...only better
if I turn of the effect section complete.
Open one day one instance in a project in Logic every thing is ok...the next day all is distorted???

any solutions

thx Danyy

This sounds massively like an issue with MIDI Learn.

Close Logic and open this file in TextEdit:

MacHD/Users/You/Library/Application Support/u-he/com.u-he.Diva.midimap.txt

What does it say?

Cheers,

;) Urs

in Logic you can freeze single tracks with the icon that looks like an ice crystal. This bounces the track to disk, so that it doesn't use any resources anymore.

The other idea is, do your tracks have automation? And if so, did you just upgrade from beta to full version of Diva?

Hi Ur,

bought onthe 24th.12.2011 and updated two days ago to DIVA 1.01

I will have to check about the automation and will go back to you on that one.

thank you and have great weekend,

Hi Urs,

unfortunately none of the previous suggestion seemed to play any
role in the distortion matter....
it sounds the signal arriving in the effect section is already cranked up to distortion,
even lowering the volume of the Osc does not have any affect.

MmmmmH....?

cheers Daniel

Hey Daniel,

Please save the distorted presets and send them to urs@u-he.com - I'll try to squeeze that in before vacation. It might just be a simple thing. And maybe a short mp3 with the distorted sound.

Also, please also send info about your buffersize, samplerate, song tempo and whatever else could have an effect.

Cheers,

Urs
