I've used the TEMPLATES / INIT Alpha patch like the others did.

At 8 voices i have audio drop out.

After estabilishing this base, all could test their machines, and post the results. Just a suggestion.
Yeah, definitely something common. Imho we should aim for ONE completely uniform patch that uses the maximum amount of CPU per voice (set to 16 voices, voice stack = 1, poly, last note priority). The downside will be that we will have a bulky 'resolution' of performance scores, but the (imho more important) upside is that the numbers will be most reliable for practical use. Otherwise I'm afraid that we'll have a lot of "I get 3 voices... but when I turn the resonance a bit higher, I have only 2 left..." It may be just me, but I really don't care how many voices of a 'lighter' patch I can play, if that number is not reliable when tweaking the patch a bit (quite possible making it heavier on the CPU).

Perhaps make it a little contest, who can create the patch that eats the most CPU cycles per voice? :D

Btw, play some nice big chords on the patch "SG Broken Machines"... and then guess why I gave it that name. If you have no clue at all, please post your hardware specs here. ;)

Also, has anyone tried (to install) Diva on a Receptor yet? I can see people wanting to have her racked and tied up with MIDI / audio cables. ;)

When I'm running low on power I just slap on one of these

If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

Diva runs great on my new laptop, which is the Asus G74SX-RH71. It has the Intel i7-2670QM, and 12 GB RAM. I can run 30+ instances of Diva with no problem -- and no freezing.

Roland is going to release the perfect controller for Diva.

Can run 9-10 voices of INIT APLHA in great mode. Tested in Flstudio on a 2500k@4ghz.
