It's a bit fiddly, but I've created hundreds of wavetables that people look at and say "that must have taken you forever". Truth is, it's a bit of a task, but each one only took 5-10 minutes and some careful planning.
At the moment I've been making spectroblend wavetables based on mathematical progressions. In one table I had the first set of harmonics derived from triangular numbers, the next from square numbers, then fron pentagonal numbers, etc, up to 16-gonal numbers. Those kind of waves take a long time because each harmonic must be set by hand and it's easy to miss-click even in the large GUI size.
