think of that setting 'makeup' as *automatic* makeup then. many compressors don't have that.

no problem. I'm someone that likes to see and hear it explained, more than reading, some of which can be pretty dense and overwhelming.

Wrong? Man, I sincerely love it - I listen daily to all kinds of unbearable pronounciation and it's refreshing to hear English spoken that way. It's not my native language, but I'm quite a purist when it comes to languages.

[Compressor] What is " Makeup" on Compressor? is it same as " output gain" ?
