I just installed my synthmaster 2.5.4.133 after purchasing, and I'm unsure as to:

1) Whether or not my 'Partial Presets' subfolders are meant to be practically empty :( (i think only my 'osc' subfolder has files, and only 2 of them)
2) Why the UserWaveforms folder is filled up with waveforms that came with SM
3) My template presets are not the same as in the quickstart guide. in fact, they are 'default preset', 'Pad Ancient Vimanas RF' (which doesn't do change the current preset once clicked upon), 'BA Vector Bass', 'PD Classic Trance Pad'. This is on a clean 1st install...if they're meant to be, well one of the 4 presets is buggy and they aren't very good choices for templates. In any case, how do I go about deleting them?
4) I am seeing some duplicate presets between my 'local' set and the 'online' set right from the get-go. Do I already have all the 'online' presets up to the latest SM update installed?
5) There aren't as many online presets as I thought there would be. Are peeps just not contributing? Is there a quality control? Or is the user base of SM just not in proportion to its KVR rank?

Thanks for reading, and I hope I haven't asked anything that deserves a 'rtfm' answer.

Thanks also to SM devs and staff for designing a plug that is very professional in both sound and gui. And then offering it at a low price. And then cutting that in half for students. Even on top of a 25% sale. Thankyou (:hihi: whuz jealus nao)

Hi there,

About partial presets you are right. We still need to invest in that part, right now it's almost empty. We'll do our best to add more "partial presets" in the coming updates.

Some waveforms are under "User" waveforms category because we added them to the library with permission. Maybe they should be under factory category.

Regarding online presets: Yes they come with the latest update as local presets. Many folks were requesting that instead of downloading them one by one from the online library. Right now we dont filter them, but probably we need to in the future by introducing "quality control"

and about the "template" presets: I'll go and arrange those. I'm also planning to add a lot of "tutorial" presets. Just wait for the 2nd half of February. After then, we'll have a lot more content coming up!

Is there currently a way to remove template presets?
After which I want to add yours in as well as a few of my own!

Tutorial presets: too late! between my opening post in the morn to now, I've learneredered SM :D and what a great learn it was

Thanks for the answers Bulent (?), now I don't have to go through the online preset library.

Just do this:

Goto browser then click on "Template" under "Attributes" to filter template presets. Then load eaach preset, and under "Preset" tab you can edit its attributes. Uncheck the "Template" attribute, and save the preset.

One more thing, how many single-cycle waveforms can SM handle atm?

I read that it used to be somewhere around 2000? Has this changed?

If not, is there a way I can import more than 2000? Like in chunks - 2000 each time I load up SM, resetting the config to force the import after each time? Will it actually work the way I'm thinking though? Or will it be re-importing all waveforms in 'UserWaveforms' folder?

You see, I'm trying to import many many waveforms, and its not happening for me :( SM seems to die before it finishes. Memory and cpu consumption during looks fine on my system. However, my wavetable cache folder is getting pretty big.

Thanks again Bulent appreciate the quick support from before
