It's not showing up in Logic or Pro Tools. Is it not yet compatible with OSX Lion?

works fine here (10.7.2).
check the plugin folder, make sure it's there (HD>Library>Audio>Plug-ins>Components).
re-install the plugin if necessary (don't lose your sounds!)...
just avoid the beta, THAT one is buggy in Lion...

there is a serious problem comming: all the last soundsets need the last beta of S1 to run
it's the reason i didn't bought last vengeance and Aelyx soundsets
if we can't use lion just because of on plug and the main reason is that there is no more developping that's really bad
S1 is stuck and futur soundsets will only be for windows users...

that, alas, seems to be the deal. i bought a new soundset, THEN discovered i could not run it.chriselden wrote:there is a serious problem comming: all the last soundsets need the last beta of S1 to runit's the reason i didn't bought last vengeance and Aelyx soundsets

unless lennar gets on this (and there's NO indication he will), macusers are stuck with the last official release... and no new soundsets.
at least, there are a million sound sets that DO work. but a shame, would love to see:
the beta finished.
64bit plugins for mac.
and custom skins...

you're posting this in several threads (as if you were on a mission LOL).jimmyfredriksson wrote:How is the 2.21 buggy in Lion? I use Logic 9.1.6 with the beta and I have no problems. Well sometimes it takes time to open up or respond. But it works.

as reported, S1 on L9 and lion is buggy for some of us (such as myself).
when u say "sometimes it takes time to open up or respond"...that's ok with you?
personally, i don't want [/i]anything to break my workflow.
but whatever gets the job done; am happy with the SOUND of S1, and all is well (enough, for now)...

for some, the beta does not work well in Lion; it's sluggish, unresponsive.
the final official release works fine (with the 32-bit bridge in logic of course).
the bridge itself (an apple thing) is buggy, crashes a lot, but you simply reopen it, it does NOT crash logic.
a nuisance, but so it goes. LOTS of stuff in life is a nuisance!
overall, it's SO worth owning S1.

I am switching to Mac, is there no 64bit Mac version of Sylenth1? (need to check the website I guess)fisherKing wrote:for some, the beta does not work well in Lion; it's sluggish, unresponsive.

I own the version of logic one back from current, and I'm an ableton live user (so that will obviously run 32bit)

Ah, I was wondering why s1 was laggy on my lion 10.7.2 install. I just updated to 10.7.3 but I haven't had a chance yet to test it, although logic pro 9.1.6 loaded up ok.
Hopefully we will see some kind of update for s1, and from reading the thread that Lennard locked, hopefully something will come abot soon. Even if Lennard seemed somewhat annoyed in his response (which the thread did go over the top), it was nice of him to respond to his customers - if only something was said a little sooner.
If s1 was significantly updated to 64bit, I'd certainly pay the update (look st Waves, tone2 gladiator and z3ta's license models).

As far as i understand it it's a complete rewrite to cocoa.
64 bit DAW software wasn't really around on mac when sylenth was last updated.
I mean i REALLY want a 64 bit version, and then i would buy it right now. All i am saying is, i understand the delay to a point.
and yet zebra, punch, massive...even kore player have been updated (these are ones i use), as have many other plugins.
and S1 hasn't been updated on any level in YEARS...
