For example . i'm not a beginner music man. i use Cubase very well,i became adapted to Cubase as a love but i stopped use it because it is warez (i wrote about it) .Kriminal wrote:true, but in this case, the person has said they have money left over each month for his hobbyDreamTrance wrote:i mean that sometimes you dont have money for hobbies also.Kriminal wrote:what does that mean?DreamTrance wrote:sometimes it doesnt help tooKriminal wrote:hobbies are a luxury, not a necessity, sometimes you have to make small sacrifices to pay for your luxuries, no?
I'm student in Eastern European . income 600 dollars , rent 300 dollars , universty always want someting every month (nearly 100 dollars] because i'm foreing student here . i have just 200 dollars, here is so expensive city but economics sucks and bad as hell .
So what can i do .
To buy Cubase 6 EE (education), three days ago i started to search jop (even i have big exams now) but i still couldnt find because of this sucking country, really it is so hard, you cant imagine it,you have to live it, i have one diplom already and also soon diplom from master degree.

You don't have to sit and watch how time flies.DreamTrance wrote:i'm 26 years old,i dont want to be bedroom producer,i want to make career,i have knowlegdes to make good music to be released from a label,a lot of people say it but now i only can sit and watch how time fly in front of my eyes without progressive and innovations, because i need it.
http://www.reaper.fm/files/0.x/reaper0999-install.exe
100% Freeware unlimited time version.
http://www.reaper.fm/files/4.x/reaper4151-install.exe
Free for 30 days fully featured trial, 60 USD noncommercial licence version.
I am not saying that REAPER is better than Cubase, i am only saying that for many musicians including me it is a preferred choice over Cubase for many different reasons (i can afford Cubase, i even have an older version, but few years ago i migrated to REAPER and now i would not go back to Cubase even if you paid me 1000$ (really)).

this is your choice in your music career, you say it .even Someone will pay you 1000 dolars , you dont want Cubase.Mutant wrote: but few years ago i migrated to REAPER and now i would not go back to Cubase even if you paid me 1000$ (really)).
So why dont you understand who wants to work on Cubase and not Reaper? Always subject about money but not about sense or emotions. I'm not robot,i cant program myself to work on a DAW which i dont want.

What you can afford and what you can't afford is the question here.DreamTrance wrote:this is your choice in your music career, you say it .even Someone will pay you 1000 dolars , you dont want Cubase.Mutant wrote: but few years ago i migrated to REAPER and now i would not go back to Cubase even if you paid me 1000$ (really)).

It is as simple as that.

A week ago, you were hunting and apparently paying for FX such as Pro-Q to replace practically all the FX built into Cubase. Other than those, Cubase is just a wave recorder and MIDI editor. So it's hard to see how you're that much in love with it.DreamTrance wrote:when you love a person so much, Can you maarry with another one whom you dont love ? NOT . it is like that for me.
Once you've learned one DAW, switching between them isn't that tricky at all. When taking part in the One Synth Challenge, I've swapped into other hosts such as Reaper and Renoise on occasion and it certainly wasn't hard - and this is for projects where you have less than a month from start to finish. People who like making music like making music no matter what they've got - I've got to wonder about people who say they can only work with one specific tool.
But there's so much of what you write that just doesn't hang together. One minute you're slavishly copying EQ settings from a trance template and asking what makeup gain is, the next you're claiming to be ready for a label, that you're not a hobbyist and so much of an expert in Cubase you can't move away from it. I just don't get it.
And what happens if you get this particular software, will you say you can't do it because you don't have decent monitors or a 12in subwoofer?

DreamTrance, someone is selling a legit secondhand version of Cubase Studio 4 for a very low price here:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=340439
Really, if you have or can get the cash your search for Cubase is gone

So that sound like a pretty good deal to metehlord wrote:Everything I've done is made in CS4 and it really has no limitations compared to the full version that you'd notice apart from a few plugins that you might never use.

Only thing we can not do, as you would understand, is find you a EUR 599.00 Cubase 6 for free. It's too much..
I think the Cubase 4 Studio for EUR 85 (maybe even less) is the closest you can get
