Any recommendations on the $30 EZ drummer expansions? I'm thinking about getting FunkMasters and The Classic. That would be $60 for five kits, not a bad deal. Plus I have SD, so I can tweak the sounds further.
OTOH, XLN have a buy-one-get-one-free sale on AdPaks. From those, I'd be mostly interested in Indie and Reel Machines (I already have Funk and Metal). In that case it's $50 dollars for two AdPaks.
Any recommendations?

I'm actually thinking about the same thing for both of these. I like AD better than SD, so I'd probably go with the 2fer AdPaks. Of those, I like indie and funk, but it doesn't look like Indie comes with Midi files included and that's another $25 add on. Am I wrong about this? Anyone know?paterpeter wrote:Any recommendations on the $30 EZ drummer expansions? I'm thinking about getting FunkMasters and The Classic. That would be $60 for five kits, not a bad deal. I like Superior Drummer, because of the ambience and the quality of the sounds and programming. The Classic is a mustbuy, because of the 4 microphone set up (there's also a full mic setup included). The 4 mic setup sounds authentic. I don't use funkmasters all that much, but it's great for creating funky loops.paterpeter wrote:Any recommendations on the $30 EZ drummer expansions? I really hope they do a SDX for 'The Classics'.

Does anyone know if this applies only to physical products or are downloads included?
Any good deals at audiomidi to use it on?
I ask because it came in the email as a warehouse sale, but I don't see any specific exclusions.ezelkow1 wrote:Audiomidi 20% off site wide with coupon code 'Deal'

There are some restrictions at the bottom of the email, cant copy and paste them since its an image. If you go to the audiomidi site it is now on the main page along with the restrictions at the bottom

Yeah, I meant to say, "the exclusions don't say anything about downloads". I see specific brands excluded, but nothing about downloads being excluded.ezelkow1 wrote:There are some restrictions at the bottom of the email, cant copy and paste them since its an image. Wow, Heavyocity Damage is $299 to begin with ($339 list) on audiomidi.com, then take another 20% on top of that and it's $100 off...

Haven't tried the 20% off code at Audiomidi on this product, but if it works, you could get T-racks Deluxe for $159-ish (plus shipping) if you own another IK product:
http://www.audiomidi.com/Products/ikm_tracks3-cug/
This would also make you eligible to get the IK group buy bonus if it reaches the appropriate level.
EDIT: Now, IK has given a $99 crossgrade price for T-racks Deluxe for any owner of a previous product....so my deal is not so good.

No restrictions for downloads. I have just purchased the crossgrade to S.Slate drums 4 EX for just $39.99 using the coupon code. It is download only.jsp1979 wrote:Yeah, I meant to say, "the exclusions don't say anything about downloads". I also noticed you can get NI's Studio Drummer for $60 (plus shipping) which is also a pretty fine deal.

Also, you can buy an Addictive Drums adpak for $40 and get one free. Good deal.

I think they only have the boxed version. Probably it's only interesting if you are in the USA.paterpeter wrote:Also, you can buy an Adictive Drums adpak for $40 and get one free. Good deal.
