eep...

I've been building a free form modular here for awhile now. I'd love to see someone like Urs model something like that. But he is right, how many people are into that kind of thing in the first place? :?

Temp lock while I split off the derailment.

[edit] Done. Elhardt gets a week off for posting that warez link. Anyone who fell into his trap and flamed back with personal insults (instead of replying calmly) got trolled. Don't do that. Personal attacks like those could lead to YOU getting a temp ban too.

Sascha, I've had to say this before -- keep your cool and you'll be in the right. Play along with trolling and you're in the wrong. Stay in the right. If you want to discuss/argue that point, please do it via PM, not in this thread. I won't split it again but will just delete off-topic posts that threaten to derail it a second time.

Great sound. Loved it.

I suppose it's up to interpretation, but I think it's classy that Hans Zimmer doesn't have 'In a relationship with Zebra' on his Facebook profile. (He doesn't even 'like' Zebra, though ... hrmm ...)

Well, the whole "endless number of modules with endless number of patch cords" kind of doesn't attract me. This has already been explored thoroughly in Max, Reaktor, Nord Modular and Scope, to name a few. I wouldn't know how to add anything on top of these

I do like the idea of highly optimised setups with a given number of modules. While Zebra does this targeting a certain workflow and a certain complexity within familiar synth topologies, ACE does this with a completely different aim. Even Diva can be seen as somewhat modular on the other end of the spectrum. Berlin Modular on the other hand might combine several of these approaches and take it to the next level.

We'll see :)
