Maybe it's me ... but I cannot get the hang of Searching the Database.
How would I find, for example, free drum synth VSTis? I tried various combinations of the filter selectors, to no avail.

Yeah, not the most obvious thing. In the "Tags / Categories" field, start typing in a tag you'd like to find. In this case, type drum and the drop down will update with a bunch of options with the word drum in it.
Or the easiest way, go to the product page of a drum synth that you already know, click on the appropriate tag there to do a search. You can then add free only in the pricing field.
