Hi,

quick question i couldn't quite work out the correct method for...

if i create a automation sub-track, then change the original instrument, this will break the automation, as obviously it hasn't got the same parameters to map to...but is there a way to re-map the automation to the correct parameter if I revert back to the original instrument?

The only way I found to do it was create another automation sub-track for the same parameter and drag my automation part into that new track.

thanks for any advice
J.

If you switch back to the original plugin, then the parameter assignment should still work, i mean the parameter assignment itself.

What might be necessary though, if it's about an independent track, is that you need to re-connect the track to that plugin. This can be done by drag-dropping a representative UI object for that plugin onto the track.

There is no looping functionality in automation clips, right? Yet?

Hmmm, Not for the bezier-driven automation parts if I'm not mistaken.

As far as the Muzys-style pencil-only parts:

You can loop them!

Or did you mean 'two loop points within an automation part? That could be achieved by splitting the automation part where you like the loop points to be and loop the resulting part, kind of a more elaborate version of the first example.

I mean those. I see they are also not shareable (ctrl+shift).

One question about curve mode, not serious though :)
Are those really curves?
