Sheeesh... we do have to find a middle way that's neither unintuitive for newbies nor insufficient for pros..
Is an A/B concept really unintuitive? I can't remember where, but I've seen it on other plugins (it's not an idea I've conjured up out of thin air ;) ) and it seemed fairly self explanatory, at least to me.

And manually saving and then managing (sorting, moving, deleting) multiple redundant patches is by a long way my biggest gripe for my pattern of use.

If it's a case of not wanting to clutter the UI with more stuff, fair enough. How about a hidden function - perhaps some keyboard work around: Shift A, Shift B or similar?

EDIT: Perhaps right clicking the undo/redo arrows could undo/redo *all* tweaks?

No, I wasn't talking about ABs, I was talking about Bront's idea.

AB is fine, but sometimes implemented in hosts. I do have ideas though, but they might clash with other concepts such as Berlin Modular.

We'll see...

Hmm, yeah, sorry - I realised that and had meant to delete everything before "EDIT".

Slightly OffTopic...
To get the Roaming Folder (e.g. under Windows 7), there is a Shortcut:
Press left windows key (for the "Startmenu") and enter %appdata% and press Enter.
There you are:]

so whats going on with this stuff is ther a way to find / delete these files or am i totally screwed and gona have to live with every single patch i make even if its in the wrong folder (which its so easy t odo cuz it doesnt give u an option where to save it, it just saves it to the last place you were in on the browser)

i dont understand the meaning behind not having a delete button, its confusing

I've got a quick fix in the works. I'll add a "show in Explorer" or "show in Finder" option to the preset browser. I can probably also add a "move to trash" option.

ATM we're preparing a trade show and stuff, so I can't estimate a date...

But anyhow, we're onto it. And we've hired a Windows-savvy developer who starts work in a few weeks.

A bug in that routine could have a devastating effect. Possible loss of data is a serious consideration. Not having that routine means no bug, no chance for loss of data and no trouble.

However, a "move to trash" option would basically do the same thing and be reversible. Should work.

WOW, great news! :)

Btw, does it means that the windows version will be much faster on the load and even lighter for the CPU? :D

Hahaha, no, it's got nothing to do with that. We do know the compilers and all, but I've just never gotten into system specifics, on Windows less so than on MacOS X.

(Many people think that I'm a "computer specialist", so friends and family members ask questions almost every day, and I can hardly ever answer them. I do synths, but I have less than average knowledge about drivers, networks, security, Facebook or Word)
