Hi everyone!

I'm trying the MFM2 demo (again ) and I noticed that there isn't a single "real" ping pong delay preset in the factory bank.
There are a lot of "pseudo" ping pong delays as we know them from many other delay plugins but not a single one which goes simply like this:

Code: Select all

##--##--##--##--
--##--##--##--##
MFM2 is one of the few delays which is capable of "real" ping pong delays, so I thought I should make a simple preset and share it :)

Here is how it sounds on a D50-ish Zebra sound: Basic Ping Pong

It works great on pads too! Especially if you add different modulations of the delay times of the left and right side! (I can't really test it though since the demo noise can be a bit annoying on pads :hihi:)

You can download the preset here (you may have to use "save target as").

I hope you have a use for it!

Cheers
Dennis

Thanks Dennis! It's funny, MFM2 is capable of quite a lot of 'bread and butter' effects (and not just focusing on delays... filters, dynamics processors, chorus/flanger, phaser, etc.) but most of the included presets focus on the wilder effects it's capable of.

And there is nothing wrong with it! I love your presets! One day I'll get MFM2 and I'll probably use it more for crazy FX too :)
