Receptor connected to VAX77

When I bought my VAX77 last year I was told that by the end of the year there would be an update so that when the VAXX77 was connected to a Receptor the VAX77 could automatically display and access the data on the Receptor. This would eliminate the need to reload the VAX77 everytime a change is made to a patch/multi/snapshot on the Receptor. I'm not sure if it was a Muse or Infinite Response update or both.

Anyone know where this stands?

This is live. You need to be at least on Receptor OS 1.9, and have the latest VAX firmware.

Thanks. I'm on OS 1.9. I'll have to check my firmware.

I have the VAX77 (firmware 3.10b) running with the 1.9 Receptor 2 PRO+. It works quite well!

Sat down to put this through its paces finally yesterday, and could not get it to work, despite following the manual.
What is the procedure, exactly?

Same boat as Phil - Receptor Pro v 1.9x just installed tonight - Vax has V3.11A - usb is working but can't the integration to work - I press the blue button on the VAX and nothing happens - Manual says that is supposed to initate the synchronization...and when I exit setup mode the Recepto resets to the last loaded patch...HELP

I got mine working. I need to start with both units off, turn on the VAX with host mode as the start up screen, then boot the Receptor and wait a little bit after it seems fully booted and then I intimate the sync.

Try that and see if it works for you!
I am out of town right now, but will be back in a few days and will both mess with it more and confirm that what I just told you is accurate.

That did the trick = patch names now appear on the vax screen - still some weirdness though - have a multi - Ivory and lounge Lizard - names appear on the screen - I can select LL and enter the slider mode but now I can't move back to Ivory - - the highlighted receptor channel will move down the screen but not up - like its frozen - could be user error I guess ....anyway thanks for the tip

The incredibly helpful guys at IR walked me through the issue - the VAX looks at Receptor level patches NOT the GUI level patches - my multis are selected patches from the gui. Works now.
