I have made similar test for Zebra oscillators (Retrigger mode, Voice drift set to off):

Zebra apparently hasn't free running oscillators. While in most cases free running oscillators are not necessary thing, sometimes it is desireble behaviour. For example, I like 2 or 3 slightly detuned oscillators playing note series with slowly evolving phaseing sound (due to phase cancellation). Currently Zebra cannot give me this sound. It seems oscillators phase set to random at note on.
Of course I can emulate this behaviour with LFO-gating technique and some other, but it isn't very handy.
I believe, constantly running phase counters for all voices including silent ones would consume CPU power. But may be Urs can add an option like "Random phase init / free phase running"? After all, there is no need to calculate, i. e., Osc FX for silent voices, so CPU hit would be not so high.
P. S. Random phase init behaviour often useful too, i. e. for eleven mode with detune set to zero - there is new texture for every new note.

Zebra iterates voices in round robin in legato and retrigger modes. Thus free running translates to random, as each oscillator will be "somewhere else"
I have since solved this problem in TyrellN6 and Diva, along with continuous envelopes. I'm sure we'll be able to add it to Zebra as well.

(what I actually wanted to say is, we're aware of this, and we've planned to add the option)

That would be great!
BTW, I thought that there may be "round robin" that is culprit, but I was sure that "retrigger" must be true monophonic mode with only one voice.
P. S. Also there is strange LFO behaviour: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=341748
