There'll be a new developer joining the team who will primarily focus on effects for Uhbik. He starts on June 1st, and we'll unveil some of our plans on that day.
On May 31st we will release something that is also related to Uhbik. If all runs well.
In the meantime I hope to find enough peace to work on some technology that's needed to put a multieffect together. It's non-trivial if one wanted to do it right.

Oh man, exciting.
Uhbik is seriously good, any more of it is all the gooder. As are the effects in Diva. Fingers crossed for porting the chorus and delay in paritcular from Diva to Uhbik. Of all the software stuff I hope for / look forward to, that is #1. Over Ableton 9 and whatnot.
Personally, I would be in for a paid upgrade - easily worth it - if that gives any incentive.

Great, look forward to it.
Personally I would love to see a Uhbik compressor & a transient shaper

I was looking a the Uhbiks, but I have a few questions.
I'm a Cubase user. I would really like the plugs to be VST 3.5 compatible with sideband/sidechain support. Any chance that will be in these updates?

We'll show VST3.5 versions of our products next week.SJ_Digriz wrote:I was looking a the Uhbiks, but I have a few questions.

External side chaining might become an option if dynamics (compressors etc.) enter the scene. Things like EQs, pitch shifters, delays etc. don't need external side chains. Only Runciter has an envelope follower, for which we might have some solution in the not-so-distant future.

Excellent news Urs, but please dont rule out the creative use of sidechaining other effects than the usual suspects.. I've used sidechain on delays before and I wouldn't rule out trying to use sidechaining on the EQ for ducking certain frequencies instead of ducking volume (Vengeance Multiband Sidechain works a bit like that).. so my request would be to include option for external sidechaining whereever possibleUrs wrote: We'll show VST3.5 versions of our products next week.

That sounds so Filterscape to me... (might add external side chain there)metal wrote:Excellent news Urs, but please dont rule out the creative use of sidechaining other effects than the usual suspects.. Pretty much what I meant .. being able to send or receive for gating and/or external feeding/receiving isn't just for compressors. mid-band EQ ducking .. reverb excitation/expansion .. delay triggers. Pretty much every Uhbik would be good for either sending or receiving some form of gate/trigger/sideband/sidechain info.metal wrote:Excellent news Urs, but please dont rule out the creative use of sidechaining other effects than the usual suspects..
