The installers for Komplete 8 and Komplete 8 Ultimate are live and ready to use at the plugorama site. The new installers do not use direct install for full compatibility with 64 bit windows systems, and even the latest apple 10.7 systems. Instructions on the new installers can be found in the Komplete 8 entry at plugorama, or in our knowledge base:

Hi Kevin,
That is great news! One question: how can I remove older Komplete versions on my Receptor? I'd like to free up the space before installing Komplete 8.

Good news! I'm still at Komplete 7, but received an upgrade for Abbey Road 60s Drums that is for Kontakt 5. Am I able to direct install this product in the meantime using the K5 Player?

If you want to get rid of old Komplete versions you can go to the "uninstall plugins" button on the setup page.
At this time K5 Player would probably install ok, but I'm not too sure that you'd be able to add the Abbey Road drums to the library. We've noticed theres some extra protection on the libraries that come with Komplete which prevents users from using that "add a library" funciton.

trying to install KOMPLETE 8 Ultimate (Upgrade) on a brand new RECEPTOR 2.
followed every single step. succesfully.
BUT: we can't get the AUTHORIZATION RETURN FILE uploaded to finish the process.
have to FORCE QUIT the Service Center application.
can you help out ?
