You can make anything click, depending on your envelope settings.
Sounds like your release times are 0.
Maybe post your envelopes settings values, or the patch, or just try slightly increasing the release times until it goes away.
You might also try lowering the "slop" values, like the envelope slop setting in particular.
Clicking isn't a bad thing. It's a feature of classic analog synths.
You can also update Live to 8.2.7 now.

Also, clicking is common where the release time is near zero, on either ADSR.
I've been searching for the ultimate click synth
DOH! I must have read Michael's posts as saying "attack" times.
Ben, it could be that an oscillator is beginning its cycle off-phase perhaps? This is a common problem with monophonic synths. Another possibility is that there is clipping somewhere - maybe you're driving a filter stage or effect stage too hard?

That's why I attached the patch in the sound cloud link
No where near zero on the envelopes
So with that in mind any ideas?

Oh sorry. I can't get on that site...blocked here.benburling wrote:That's why I attached the patch in the sound cloud link

Maybe it's a feature, not a bug.
Try turning all the slop-drift-etc settings down and see if it goes away.
Try raising the attack slightly.
Try different envelope settings, one at a time, to see which setting makes it stop clicking.
Turn off any fx.
Raise the release time little by little until it stops.

I had missed that link to the patch. Fixed it though..try setting the Voice Stack to 2 instead of 1.
Ben, that's a great patch. It reminds me of Zawinul from Mr. Gone.
Yeah, that was not a "good" sort of click. It sounded a lot like the crappy "static farts" you get on older VA synths, like my Novation X-Station. It sounds a bit like voice stealing. A bunch of the stock mono patches on the X-Station suffer from that "static" click. Hmmm...
