According to the Propellerheads webshop, there are separate upgrade paths to Reason 6 for owners of Reason\Record and for owners of Adapted/Limited/Essential.

It appears that the one Audiodeluxe are selling is only meant to work with previous versions of Reason or Record, not Essentials as is written there.

I may be wrong, so you should confirm with Audiodeluxe if you plan to buy this.

Can't speak to the upgrade paths, but the Reason Essentials sold by Audiodeluxe is the same that is being sold by Sweetwater - also at $99.99. Everything I've read says there's been no change to Essentials - other than the price drop.

IOW, it's the same Essentials that was (and still is, by some retailers) selling for $249.99!
