Andy,
RE: Scales Copy
On my XP sp3 machine, from which I'm typing, I can't get anything to the buffer on Cntrl + Click on the s2s Load button. I tried on a sequence page, in the advanced page and by toggling on or off before I tried the copy routine.
Nothing is copying.

All these scales/ modes are in key of C for proper placement on the 's2s' keyboard.
Dorian - 101101010110
Phrygian - 110101011010
Lydian - 101010110101
Mixolydian - 101011010110
Aeolian (Natural Minor) - 101101011010
Locrian - 110101101010
I'll submit a few more as I check out what is already there.
What was your source for the exotic scales, btw?
Maybe in v2.0 we can have two octave 's2s' so we can do proper 1/4 tone scales of more than 8 notes!

New Scales are in, thanks for that. The main site I use is:
http://www.harmonics.com/scales/index.html
Although the Chords and basic scales came from other sites. I wanted to update the Scales anyway because really for most people I think it's the chords which are more useful and so I've hopefully covered that nicely now.

Small point.
When using, I get used to thinking of the sequences as the name of the key which triggers them. As an example, I notice many of the presets have the main kick and snare on 'D.'
It is not so easy, however, when going to the Midi Mixer page, to always remember that channel 7 is G#.
It looks like there is enough room in the GUI to also place the key name right above the Midi Mixer and Synth page channels.
I would find this a help, instead of having to frequently count up the scale to see which channel went with the sequencer I was working on.
I know you see the activity light indicating sound output, but if multiple sequncers are running that still doesn't help immediately identify the channel.

Preset name issue.
I take a preset slot and initialize it. I save the preset in Cubase with a different name.
When I load the preset from Cubase, the name of my preset doesn't update in Vortex ... it continues to show the name of the preset I'd originally initialized for use, instead of the name I have given the preset.
Is this just Cubase behavior, or something to do with how Vortex loads the preset?

I have no control of the presets, the host always handles it, so yes it would be a cubase issue, in other hosts when saving as fxp it stores/loads the preset name. I've made many of the presets in various hosts and then imported them.
Looks like this issue:

Thanks for your efforts, Andy.
At least I know i can save and later load the preset I want, even if the name doesn't update in Vortex.
It is much preferable to the alternative ... I very much wouldn't like for the name to be correct, but the preset contents wrong!
Let me just add for clarity, that when I load the preset into Vortex, it does change from what was there as long as I am not on the same original preset to start.
Lets say I init 'Pluto,' make changes and then save it as a preset in Cubase, calling it 'Pluto X.'
Now, later, I am playing with the 'Cruel World' preset, and I decide to load my 'Pluto X' preset. The displayed name of the preset in Vortex changes from 'Cruel World' to 'Pluto,' the original name of the preset before I saved 'Pluto X' in Cubase.
I just want to make sure I am fully describing the behavior. I seem to recall that some program have a 'rename' function whereby you can change the displayed preset name from within the instrument ... but maybe this is hazy, wishful thinking.
