// BETA 40
* If Pitch Octave changed in Pitch Hold Mode, note could get stuck on a patch change
* Relevant presets updated to have Pitch Hold Enabled.
* Pressing a Pitch Trigger will retrigger it even if it is already enabled.
* Updating Pitch Trigger Offset whilst playing now changes in real time
* Keyboard now has red notes for pitch triggers and light bluish notes for Triggers.
* FXB/FXP Import/Export added!
* Preset Can now be selected from within the instrument via the menu or incremented/decremented like all other lists.
* Fixed stuck orange menu item when incrementing.
* Added Randoms to the Pitch Trigger Section - The random button for scales will just randomize a chord (You can still randomize from the large database via CTL Click on a scale, or all with CTRL + SHIFT)
* Added Local Rand/Def controls to the Pitch Triggers.
* Added Defaults to the Advanced Page and tied it into the Matser Default Button.
* Added Global Random Buttons on the main Sequencer display which will randomize across all 12 Sequences, they are the red buttons next to the normal randoms.
* CTRL + Default button on the side default buttons of the sequencers will default all sequences, so CTRL clicking on Octave Row's default button will set all Octaves off for example.
* Manual Updated.

Como we now have fxp/fxb support, I was investigating whether I could code something with the SDK and then came across an SE Module which does it which must have crept in with v1.1 without me noticing! Anyway now you can save/load presets banks within Vortex and even rename them :)

Fantastic! The final link in the chain for my work flow.

I don't know if I'm going to be able to get my head around all the new added features in the past 3 betas. I'll probably have to wait till the initial 'final' manual shows up ...hopefully with the v1.0 release.

Andy, you must be awfully close to release!

Best wishes for a tsunami of sales once the word gets out what Vortex can do.

:) Thanks !

I think it's there now, my list is finally at an end. The manual should be up to date, let me know if anything is missing!

Still have to do some videos, I will be away next week until Thursday, so I'm hoping for a release date at the beginning of next month, probably a week on Monday.

Most of the newer stuff is niceties, hopefully improving workflow etc...

It's been a lot of work since the early idea of a midi sequencing plugin, but well worth it, I just hope I can get it across to people the scope of what it can do which is the tricky (and hardest) part.

Hi Andy,
* FXB/FXP Import/Export added!

Great! I wanted ask you about this implementing of this, but I didn't count on adding it to first release :).
* Manual Updated.

Manual is now very well done,

Oh, one other thing. Did you put the linking of sequencers on hold?

Hi Andy,

Manual on page 10 (Triggers bookmark) contains following items:
Forward - This will instantly advance the sequence by the amount set for Forward in the master section.
and
Back - This will instantly send the sequence back by the number of steps selected in the back amount option in the master section.
But those options are currently moved to Advanced tab.

Thanks I'll sort that out! :)

Right, I thought you'd mentioned something where it would be possible to link sequences so that they played in consecutive order to create longer sequences? It was when we were discussing polyphony ... but maybe I misunderstood.

Page 16 in he manual:

• CTRL will randomize the scale from 1000+ selection of possible scales. Clicking a
scale will set all the other scales to it's scale.

The last part suggests a way to copy a selected scale from one keyboard to all other keyboards. If that is what it means, I cannot figure out how to do this.

Also, in regard to the Advance Page Options, there is nothing about the C3 and C4 "Octave Offset," ... something I was hoping to read about, as I don't understand how you are supposed to use it.

Como
OK, cheers I'll add that! They are simple really, they just transpose all sequences by an octave, so transposing C3 by -1 will make it the same pitch as the octave where the triggers are. The idea is that C3 and C4 are the main sequencers that are used sandwiched in between the pitch and the triggers, and so this gives the ability to pretend they are any of the other octaves, most importantly the ones hidden by the Pitch/Trigger Octaves.

1.1 it's a big job.

Thanks, that's a mistake, although that feature should be in there, I'll add a set all button.

Thanks Mark :)

Not a rest unfortunately, actually putting up a couple of bus shelters in Scotland, but it will be nice to see some mountains and have a break from the screen :)
