A better description should have been,
The problem I had seems like a "hanging" note problem that some synths have.

But as with having a problem with a car and when you take it to a mechanic, he says, "hmm, we did not find any noise".

The problem (seems to be) is the LFO continues to out put audio after the transport is stopped. May be this is normal and just a bad use of the LFO? The way I have it set up it gives an interesting sound to the tremolo. But since the LFO is under the synthesis category, I assume its to be used more with, say the OSC or the Noise Generator as apposed to using it to modulate any thing else?

Aaaah, ok, well, MXXX is not intended to be synth really! There will be MYYY for that and that will be like "double-modular". Here the synthesis part is for example for the subbass generator in the examples. The LFO processor may be used for tremolo for example, but there is a dedicated tremolo processor, so it is more like for some "weirder" effects. It can also be used in conjunction with feedback to drive a modulator, check Sample 10.
