I'm still having the chorus section disappear using the editor. Again, any help manually editing the file to remove that small white square would be great.

Don't know what the knob [square] is for - but how to switch it off. Just go into editor and change background color for square to none or invisible - you have to do this also with the letter "l" which is under the square. You might also want to edit the background of chorus on/off field.braj wrote:In Tyrell, if I use the editor the chorus isn't displayed, and if I save any changes the chorus remains gone. I am really wanting to know what the small square next to zero point in the NOISE knob is for, where that appears in the script so I can edit that.
Code: Select all
CONTROL type='Display' name='Display 2090' bounds='132.00 17.00 48.00 12.00' parent='Pane 2089' layerMask='1'
PROPERTY control='Display 2090' name='colours' id='0' value='none'Got/get the same bug with chorus - in editor mode "your" (havn't checked with another) script shows the chorus field somewhere over the lfo fields. If i'm change/correct it in the editor and save it the chorus settings won't get saved.
Could i please use some part of your GUI to make my own edit?
Thanks in advance and thanks Urs for sharing great (free) synths (with nice integrated editor) and knowledge.

Is there a way to include a bigger (may not cinematic) sized image for the tyrell background image? So the image will be still sharp when using higher resolutions.

For backgrounds and objects (controls)?Urs wrote: When designing Diva skins, make sure to use a 10 x 10 pixel raster. This is a prerequisite for the new resize algorithm.
If I understand you correctly;
* A background/pane should be eg. 1000x600, not 1003x599?
* A knob should be eg. 50x50 not 49x49 (or 20x20, not 22x22) pixels?

Thanks nBeat,
if it is possible i want to save a bigger background image not 1000 px x xx px but 1500 px ..
so if you use 1000px resolution the image get scaled down and only when you use cinematic or huge resolution the image would get scaled up.
Greets,
Jack

I wonder if any skin tweakers out there know why a skin might actu slightly differently in an AU and a VST version of DIVA. nBeat's divalicious skin gets little vertical lines popping up in the VST version on mac, but the AU version seems to work fine and not get the little lines.
Urs or anyone, know if the VST mac version is slightly different?

Hi,
Is there way to access editor in V3? Nothing seems to happen when I make default preset with specified line added (But works fine in V2). Thanks!

I only see a *horizontal* 'line' on the bottom of the GUI in the VST version when resized in some hosts, but that also happens for the default theme (or any other). And in other hosts, I see such a horizontal line on the bottom of resized GUI windows for the AU version, not the VST (e.g. Live, but only for a few seconds).Echoes in the Attic wrote:I wonder if any skin tweakers out there know why a skin might actu slightly differently in an AU and a VST version of DIVA. nBeat's divalicious skin gets little vertical lines popping up in the VST version on mac, but the AU version seems to work fine and not get the little lines.

There seem to be little rounding errors that may affect how a GUI is drawn for VST plug-ins that do not exist for AU plug-ins, and vice versa. I guess we should just blame the AU / VST frameworks and/or the hosts for these.
Given all the hints Urs already gave about enhancements to the theming stuff, perhaps just wait a bit and see if the issue persists after these upcoming changes have been released.
