ACE feature request: stacked voice tuning presets

I would have a dropdown list at the bottom of the 8 voice knobs in order to quickly change the stack presets (there is also some blank space):
es:
text on the dropdown - knobs setting
minor chord - 0 3 7 0 0 0 0 0
major chord - 0 4 7 0 0 0 0 0
minor 7th - 0 3 7 10 0 0 0 0 0
ideally thouse settings should be editable from a text file with a limited set of chords/detuning by default.
Very easy to program, very funny to use!

So there are chances to see it implemented in a not-so-far future?Urs wrote:Hmmm.. indeed... one of the many, many areas we could improve...
Ot: being delighted by the reaper developing cycle some times i whish Urs release often versions with small improvements rather than rare updates with huge , but that is another topic...

Different people have different views, but I would not like that! Reaper suffers from too many options and it is not easy and intuitive. I would not like Zebra or other U-he synths to become like Reaper!
It is pretty easy to adjust stack tuning already no? It only takes me like 15-20 seconds to make a chord

I don't like the sea of options in Reaper (in fact i am an Ableton user) but i really like the fact that they release a lot of little improvements rather than a big omni-comprensive update.pdxindy wrote: Different people have different views, but I would not like that! About stack tuning: i really hate to turn those knobs, if not presets dropdown AT LEAST i would like to insert value by keyboard rather than fine tuning those small knobs.

I think if the knobs jumped by integers rather than 0.20 increments that would be more efficient as I usually am doing 5ths or 7ths etc if I am doing more than detune... and the shift knob does it usual 0.01 increments for detune.
And I suspect that the Reaper method of numerous small releases leads to the sea of options. There is not much time to think and decide if something is truly needed, well implemented and integrates into the existing paradigm and workflow. I also liked the frequent updates, but now over time we see the flaw I think.

+1. Such a feature wouldn't make much sense IMHO - though numeric input everywhere might.pdxindy wrote:It is pretty easy to adjust stack tuning already no? It only takes me like 15-20 seconds to make a chord

Maybe a stepwise menu button for cents/semi/hz etc. like on the oscillators themselves would work? ... except for breaking automation I guess
[e - actually these can't be automated in the first place though? hmm]
On a tangent, I keep thinking I'd love to see some modulation options for hertz-wise detuning in ACE and Bazille on the oscillators as well, they can only be offset while cent-wise detuning can be modulated. Maybe I'm on this tangent because ACE is my go-to FM synth, I'm sure Bazille will be ... mostly because the capabilities go much further than FM synths but perhaps also because my only other option is Ableton Operator
(Well, and Zebra, which covers a lot but not everything FM-wise)
