I've read that word "Polymod" on Vintagesynth, but neither of our two OB-X has a parameter to enable it.atukao wrote:UrsUrs wrote:(addendum, seing that SEM filters are currently the most avilable ones in our studio, I think they're probably also the most likely ones for a future addition)
When you model the above filters is it likely that you will include the Polymod functionality of the OB-X?
The patch panel was there to "prove" that Diva could literally do anything an unmodified MS-20 can, and then some (apart from the external input and trigger button, of course)JJBiener wrote:Since we are talking about a mod matrix, I have to tell you that my favorite feature of the betas was the patch panel. I could look at that in a few second know what was going on in the patch. It also allowed me to get creative because it was visual. I didn't have to imagine the routings in my head. To be honest, when that left, so did my desire to buy the thing. If you could bring that back, I would put Diva back on my "to buy" list. A mod matrix would help, but it wouldn't replace a patch panel in my estimation.
I hear what you're saying. Personally, I found the patch panel to be far clearer than either the current set up or a mod matrix. I guess that could just be me. Still, it would be nice to have the patch panel as an option.Urs wrote:The patch panel was there to "prove" that Diva could literally do anything an unmodified MS-20 can, and then some (apart from the external input and trigger button, of course)JJBiener wrote:Since we are talking about a mod matrix, I have to tell you that my favorite feature of the betas was the patch panel. The problem is, there is a very high number of modulation sources in Diva, but only a relatively small number of destinations. Thus a patch panel will always look exceedingly confusing, with most mod source outlets being empty. This stood against the concept of Diva being reminiscent to relatively simple synthesizers that merely shine through their character than their feature set.
Well, nothing stands against that. A patch panel is just a gui representation of the modulations with different visual means. If it's desperately needed and if I find a free day, I could whip it up as an additional theme (could even call it a "new feature")JJBiener wrote:I hear what you're saying. YES!!!!!!!!! Diva Supersaws!!!!! and other 90's sounds for Diva!!! PLEASE!!!bmrzycki wrote:I'm secretly hoping the supersaw algorithm stuff makes it way into Diva (and esp Z2) eventually. Pairing that with some of the filters would make some great classic 90s floaty trance pad sounds.

It has no more functionality than what is there now...ddeez wrote:I would also love a modular patch panelUrs wrote:Well, nothing stands against that. Urs did do some experimentation into this a while ago.ddeez wrote:YES!!!!!!!!! Diva Supersaws!!!!! and other 90's sounds for Diva!!!
