When you model the above filters is it likely that you will include the Polymod functionality of the OB-X?
I've read that word "Polymod" on Vintagesynth, but neither of our two OB-X has a parameter to enable it.

I do think what's meant here is X-MOD, which is just normal FM between two Oscs.
I guess people are confusing the OB-X with the Prophet 5 here. The Prophet synths had a Polymod section. It's the section where you can modulate the filter by the oscs etc.
The Pro One (And other Prophet synths?) had a similar section. I have no idea if it was called Polymod there too though.

I think Diva is pretty perfect as it is but... SEM would be smoking hot. And, since there's basically 4 vintagey synths currently modeled 3 of which are Japanese, I think the next 2 (if there will be) should be American. SEM would be rockin as would a Pro-One/Prophet 5ish one.

Back in the day, I was way more into American analog than Japanese but Diva has given me a certain amount of appreciation for the guys across the Pacific. The MS20 filters can be downright nasty.

OK .. back to the topic.. "Modulation Matrix" ... just a little bit :D

Let's say you can create about 5000 cool, "original" and unique patches with Diva as it is atm...

Even with a simple mod matrix implemented, you can multiply that number by 10 without any exaggeration IMO! + you can make many the existing patches even better!

So for me, .. I'm really awaiting the mod matrix feature to progressively get moved up within the priority list! :D

:hyper: GO DIVA MOD MATRIX, GO!

The inclusion of an Oberheim SEM and a Rev2 Prophet 5 SSM filter in Diva would be interesting.

On the Pro One that section is simply called Modulation. Boring, he? :hihi:

That Pro One sitting right besides me is waiting for some serious restoration. Probably after Diva 1.1 is out... :)

I now feel ashamed of myself.
If that "second" filter could also get switched to an Oberheim SEM (w/bandpass) style that would be super sweet.
Hey,

I can not promise a second lowpass filter just yet. Maybe we can add one to the otherwise highpass-ish filter section, but it would be somewhat out of Diva's scope IMHO...

However I've been listening to a common friend of our's a lot, the infamous and fabulous ATC. I think we're going to offer a rather similar sounding variation of the ladder filter. Where our current one would be the "smooth" setting, that one would mark the "strong" territory.

You could just add an audio in instead so we could route 1 diva through another for 2 LP filters, with the added benefit of letting us DIVersify loops/drums whatever thru the filter section. Keeps DIVA in it's intended scope and gives us even more filter heaven. Just a thought
