If you're looking for realistic brass, this can be helpful.

Still, it's only loops and hits.
Plugsound Pro and Ircam Solo instruments does includes brass but I think there are more suited toward orchestral music though
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick reply... But it seems like no one does 'arped' brass sections. Tried it on my Kontakt Sax and Brass (with Arpgr8)... One can only imagine what can be accomplished with UVI's sweet arp.otristan wrote:If you're looking for realistic brass, this can be helpful.

Could you clarify your platform.ttoz wrote:i don't know what's going on but i loaded the latest uvi workstation and it instantly crashes loasing any sound from synths anthology...
the ufs file was just co[pied freshly from the original disc, the ilok license is intact, all the sounds show in the browser, but every singe one will crash UVI and the host, or UVI standalone.
The downloaded Uvi i bought a while back load fine.
It also works in the previous incarnation (1.1.7) of the uvi player.
what the??
OSX under Logic as 64bits as usual ?
If it works with uviw 1.1.7, we should be able to rule out the non valid ufs file but just in case, you can maybe check
the MD5 of the two files
http://www.uvisoundsource.com/how-to-en ... cles_id/78
http://www.uvisoundsource.com/article_i ... cles_id=79
Please check as well that the .ufs and .ufs1 are both located in the UVISoundbanks folder (or aliases to those)
Does it happen with soundpack demo sounds or tutorial sounds ?
Does it happen when loading UVI Workstation from scratch or only when loading back a session ?
Does it happen in StandAlone version ?
Does the UVIWorkstation UI says 2.0.6 ?
Just in case, Could you try grabbing the latest PACE drivers ?

(By the way, I personally leave for vacations tonight, so if you want further assistance please contact the official support: support@uvi.net )
Thanks,

(back from vacation)
If the MD5 do not match it doesn't means that your UFS are faulty. Just that you don't have the latest version.
Please send an email to support to get access to the latest download.
Regarding arp stuck not, I will take a look. Probably related to the mouse clicking instead of the MIDI key usage.

Installing the windows 32bits installer should be enough.jokaking wrote:how do I get this to come up in fl studio?

64bit version is also supported by IL Bridge.

There is a joke about this when you install a 32 bits version on a 64bits OS as you need to install manually 64bits PACE driver.makk wrote:
Hi, I installed v2.1.1 (32bit) but it does not start.
The latest iLok Driver is installed on my PC already.
v2.0.12 (32bit) starts without any problems.
OS:Win7 x64
We only bundle 32bits drivers with the 32bits installer.

Please let us know if this doesn't fix your issue.
Thanks,

Thanks,
I didn't know about the new iLok License Manager until now.
I installed it and UVIWS (v2.1.2) of 32bit and 64bit both.
But, UVIWS v2.1.2 (32bit) will freeze when I started it.
This image is captured with Stand-alone mode.

The 64bit version of UVIWS works well.
In short, we are not able to use the 32bit version of UVIWS in Win7 x64 anymore?

Humm that's weird. We are going to take a closer look on Monday.
In the meantime, you can grab a previous version here:

Sorry about this inconvenience.
