These organs are so superb that it seems unreasonable to ask for more.

However, one feature I'd love to have is MIDI learn on the main controls. It would be great to use, for instance, the Korg Kontrol 2 for drawbars and assign a pedal to vibrato on/off…

Well, both ComboF and ComboV already have MIDI learn for the main controls. Is there anythig you would like to do but you can't do with the current MIDI learn options?

:oops: That's what I get for not reading the manual carefully…

I just assumed MIDI learn would work like it does in, for example, VB3 and Kontakt 4, where you right-click on a control and get a contextual menu.

Meanwhile I have updated ComboF to v1.1.0 beta3:
  • Moved help button to bottom right corner
  • Better indication of which knob/tab/slider is selected for MIDI learn
    (instead of displaying its name, the selected control is highlighted)
  • Merged MIDI map load/save/clear with MIDI learn toggle switch

I know it has been a while, but I have just uploaded Combo Model F v1.1.0 beta4.

The main change in this version if that I have greatly improved the accuracy of ComboF's sound after A/B comparing it with a recording from a real Mini Compact.

Changes:
  • Improved voice filters (brighter, more raucous)
  • Added feedback to tone generator outputs
  • Added preamp filter stage
  • Extended vibrato speed range
  • Tweaked vibrato depth, which now defaults to light
  • More authentic noise (mains hum, pink/white noise, chatter)
  • Added auto volume for All Booster voice
  • Added warning when loading project/preset from older version
  • Tweaked presets
  • Selecting a tab for MIDI learn no longer changes its value
  • Renewed MIDI map load/save/clear buttons
  • Full changelog...

Yay! Thank you for the new Combo Model F v1.1.0 beta4.

IMHO ComboF sounds pretty close. It doesn't fix my sloppy keyboard playing though... :P
