That's odd, I just tried it today, when saving within the Reaktor Player interface, I get a message that saving is disabled in the player.
Obviously, saving presets within your hosts preset system works fine.
I believe I have the latest version (OS X) but check on that later today.
Seriously tempted by this offer from NI, but Razor is such a CPU hog. Diva runs better on my 5y old Macbook Pro.

So anyone can confirm if you can play Razor completelly with Reaktor Player? No restrictions at all?
From the website:
Q: Can I save my own presets in the REATOR 5 PLAYER?
A: No. However if used within a DAW host, storing your DAW project will also store the instruments current, customized sound and will recall it completely at a later date.
It's a nice offer, Razor for 35 Euros. But i don't have money right now...Shit!
But that would be a nice synth to make electronic stuff, that's for sure.
Have a good day

When the company has learnt to spell the name of its own products correctly and provides accurate information on their official website, I may trust them with my CC#.samsam wrote:Be that as it may, you CAN save presets in Reaktor Player (NI didn't even spell Reaktor right on their FAQ!) - I do it in Skanner after somebody pointed it out to me here:

I bet you used your glorious CC on much much worse places then on NI website. If you don't have anything more constructive just...

This is a steal for Razor, and what I'm seeing it's not a part of Komplete, right? So if I upgrade to Komplete 8 I won't be getting it? I don't see it listed on the product page.
I'm reading reviews and they mention a Vocoder. Can you run audio through it, or is it a load a wave file type thing?

Do you think it's unreasonable to want accurate information before making a purchase decision?kmonkey wrote:JimmiG wrote:

Some demo videos that can make you decide.osiris wrote:This is a steal for Razor, and what I'm seeing it's not a part of Komplete, right? So if I upgrade to Komplete 8 I won't be getting it? I don't see it listed on the product page.

Bass presets
Lead presets
Pads presets. (Intensive on CPU, i'm asking him about what CPU and equip he has in Youtube channel.) 50% for a pad is crazy. And i doubt he has a bad equip.
SFX presets
VOCODER presets. (Yes, you can run your voice through it)
I like the kind of sounds. I just need to know if i can make my own presets or not, to buy it or not.
Have a good day guys

Done. 40 bucks - no brainer. I hate the Reaktor Player interface but suppose it's better than Reaktor.
(And dammit NI, I'm supposed to be buying a washer and dryer with some of this money!)

As soon as you install it, please, make your own patches, save them, and load them with Reaktor Player, and let me know if it works fine. Thanks Osiris.osiris wrote:Done. 40 bucks - no brainer. I hate the Reaktor Player interface but suppose it's better than Reaktor.

You mean later this morning, after you install it. I'll have to install, get online, activate with the Service Center (if I can remember the stupid login)
I much prefer Rob's way. Put in a number. Done. Tone 2 even better. Stick keyfile in folder. Go.

I swear I could open Skanner in regular Reaktor. Can you not open Razor in Reaktor?

Let me know if you are able to save presets through the host, I am interested to but I have to be able to save presets.

Well, I've got the free player, so I modified a presets and saved it. Loading into a new project and I cannot reload the preset. Using the DAW to load the preset does nothing at all. Oh well.
