Saving presets in NI format goes fine.
Saving presets in FL Studio format goes fine too.

Total recall for both. No problems so far to me.

What host are you using Aiyn?

Sorry if it has been asked before... the max polyphony is only 6 voices, right?

...guess this thing is specially designed for basses

Well, I modify something in Carbon for example on the free player and use S1 to save the preset I have modified. It cannot be reloaded from the S1 browser.

Okay, so open the Reaktor Player tell me if you guys can get this to load, its for Carbon2

If it loads right it should sound somewhat like a police siren, a fast one.

Install not so bad. First impression: It kind of sounds like Lazerbass. Great sounds, though. Is there an .ens version because mine has an extension of .rkplyr or some such. I don't know where you're getting 50 % CPU because I tried pretty much every preset and didn't top 35. That's with High Quality and Max voices selected. I couldn't save a preset I made (but I didn't save a Local Copy either - could that be it?) There is an INIT preset in the Errowsmith presets, so I'm assuming you can do something. I'm just not that familiar with Player.

No, i didn't reach 50% CPU, i meant the guy in the videos, Torley. Some pads are getting 50%. Anyway the voicing poly/mono 1 to 6 voices max and the high/med/low settings are nice for it.

I can't load a preset with "preset" format, is that a preset format from Studio 1?
I only can load NRKT format presets.

Okay. So I'm fooling around with this and in like ten seconds I've got this ethereal string/voice thing going. I managed to save Razor as an ensemble. It's right there. It says Razor.ens. Close it and pull it up again, and there's my preset just as I left it. There's also a Save preset as NRKT format as mentioned above. If I can do this now you can expect some presets from me really soon.

My final comment:

Using Reaktor Player with Skanner (which I'm guessing in terms of presets is the same as with Razor):

In the dropdown next to the magnifying class at the top of RP interface, select "file" then "save Ensemble (as)' it says "Sorry, this function is disabled in the PLAYER and DEMO modes".

HOWEVER

Choose "save preset as" and.....it saves a preset! And you can open it again! Just like a real synth!

Is Razor really different to that?

It must be. Razor let me save it as an ensemble and it even named itself Razor. There is no save snapshot in either the .nrkt or the .ens files I have.
But I have Reaktor full.

Full can save ensembles, Player cannot, it can only save presets. Got it.

I think you'd have to be mad to turn this down for $40.00. Think of it as buying two really nice soundbanks.

Bought it and very happy. Don't even really want it for the bass. The pads and textures sound really nice. A lot of flexibility. I don't have anything else that sounds quite like it. I do mostly soundtrack type stuff at the moment and I think I'm going to use it a lot. Presets save in Reaper with only the player version.

It's a must buy as far as I'm concerned and I wasn't even interested in it before the sale. Thought of it more for electro and dubstep type stuff. I'm sure it can be used for that, but it can do a lot more too.

Razor is still, as a once famous street-savvy producer said - "Wicked"
