Can anyone here de-mysitfy the cakewalk X1 deals. I get Sonar X1 LE for $20. You're only give 8 VSTI at once.

Where do you go from there? what are the upgrade costs so you can have reasonable or unlimited VSTI instances?

And then how do much to get the Soft-tube stuff? And were does Rapture come into it?

It's a maze I tell you. I am lost.

this translates to:

$ 19.99 for Sonar X1 LE Starter kit

$ 179 for Upgrading to SONAR X1 Studio Download

with which you automatically get a free upgrade
to the Sonar X1 Producer, as part of the offer

check out what's included in Producer:
http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/SONAR/ ... fault.aspx
in order to add the extra plug-in packs you have to buy for $10
the Sonar Producer Expanded package:
http://www.store.cakewalk.com/b2cus/Pro ... XP1.00-20E
In a few words you get Sonar X1 Producer expanded for $209
Then see for your self which plug-ins you may wish to add-on

Sonar X1 LE upgrade should be $149, so you can knock $30 off
fermin's upgrade path quote.

Please note that according to our terms and conditions, e-vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with special offers.
So why issue e-vouchers, when it is smarter for consumers to wait around for special offers anyhow?

...and where's the yearly 50% upgrade of Komplete???
Might still be coming after offering all of the individual products -- who knows.

Bigger questions are:
1) When is Komplete 9 going to be released?
2)What existing sounds / sample packages are added to standard Komplete? (answer: the ones you just bought :P )
3) What major upgrades? (Reaktor 6??)
4) Is the upgrade pricing going to change? (especially the practice that allows same price upgrades from any version of Komplete)
5) Is anything going to be discontinued that I haven't gotten yet.

I'm in my annual quandary of whether it's best to jump on sale for old vs paying full upgrade for new release -- then waiting for the bug updates.

I'm still sitting on K6, would like K8 now that I have a better computer ... or will I be happier waiting for K9?

I got Razor for 9€ last week combining the half price discount and a voucher (from four years ago). Not all NI offers are the same.

That voucher was from the time when you got it printed on a piece of paper in the box. They don't do that anymore AND they expire three months after registration of your product.

I picked up Damage using my $30 e-voucher.

They tell you that but all my vouchers (that come with Komplete) have worked after the 3 months. One that I used once was over 2 years old.

I work on the basis if I haven't used it in the 3 months, if it still works great, if not then doesn't matter.

Keir@NI also confirmed on these forums that K8U vouchers will not expire after 3 months (even though they say they will).

Ah, great to hear. That might be the matter when it comes to Komplete. When I bought Maschine, the only thing I got was an expiring e-voucher. :-|

Does anyone know if the ZETA+ that's in the latest (German) Beat magazine has a x64 AU version?

Being Cakewalk, I doubt it.
But I thought I read somewhere that Rapture had an x64 AU, so mayyyyybeeee...?

Man, are you my teacher or something, checking my posts that they are correct? :D

You must have different voucher, the e-voucher (not paper) I got when buying Komplete Elements last year can not be used in addition to special deals (I've tried numerous times), and it also was good only for 3 months.

I'm happy for you though that you got Razor at such a low price :)
