Nice, thank you for the e-voucher link!

Have you seen, you can't buy NI Maschine @ NI's Store any more, no units left.

But there is a massive pricedrop (-200€) @ german retailers

Here have a look

http://www.thomann.de/de/native_instrum ... schine.htm

http://www.musicstore.de/de_DE/EUR/Nati ... 008550-000

My question, before i eventually buy it, do you guys think there will be a new hardware rev. of the maschine controller in 2012?

If not, get it while it's cheap :D

Post

The new version of Maschine will probably get audio in and out (analog and digital) like the Akai Renaissance.

But this new price is interesting.

So NI will probably merge some of their own Audio Interfaces with the Maschine Controller to have a competitor for the forthcoming MPC R, sounds logical...

But i couldn't resist  :hyper:

:D or  ?

I saw this in the bargain thread, and I don't know that I've ever seen a Z3ta "FX" .dll. Can someone enlighten me? I get that it wasn't a feature in 2.0, but I've got the original and I don't see it there either. Is it just x32? That would explain it for me. If not, how do I get the FX.dll?

Thanks

I agree.

The z3ta_fx.dll is excellent for guitarists, and in general.
The mag version is likely 1.5, not the new V2.x.
The fx.dll itself, was not updated in 2.x, so no loss there.

Hi Berfab,

The instrument is x32 only, isn't it? Do you have v1.5 running on x64 native? I have v1.5 running on Sonar X1 LE, and it shows up in my effects menu, but I didn't think that it could run in, say Studio One v2 x64, without a bridge.

One of the cool things about the original Z3ta was that it was one of the first great classics to go x64. So I've got it in my x64 folder. Of course I upgraded to v. 2, so I don't really need v. 1.5, but still, I keep it for old times' sake.

Don't really 'need' the fx .dll, though it would be nice to have. But if it's not in x64, I'll live (somehow).

About the kontakt offer, can i use the retro machine on Kontakt 4? Or does it require Kontakt 5?

The NI page says it will require Kontakt 5/Kontakt 5 Player.

Thanks Berfab! I just reloaded it and selected x64. Awesome! I also noticed that Studio One Pro v2 failed to load the x64 versions of the FX. If they were blacklisted on your setup too, that may be why you don't see them.

Take care,
G

straight from the Analog Industries Blog post earlier today:

We're currently having our summer sale at Audio Damage, if you didn't get the info through one of the roughly 3,000 media outlets it appeared in prior to me putting it here. Enter the code BURNINGUP at checkout for 30% off the contents of your cart. This sale will last until Friday at midnight CST.

So it's the 4th of July today which is apparently a pretty big deal in the US of A. Here in the Old World, it's business as usual.

There should be some special offers from American developers today I guess.. Only one I know of so far is PreSonus Studio One crossgrades (40% off) but there must be more?

Actually I don't even know where half of the developers are based (lots of them seem to be in Germany) but there must be some.
Hardware: Akai MPK61, MFB-Synth II, Roland JX-8P, Virus TI Snow, KORG MS2000R, Roland SH-01
Favorite software: Sylenth1, Synth1, Messiah, ME80, OPX-Pro II, Zebra 2, Diva, Reason, Studio One V2 Pro

Sorry if I'm beating the NI voucher issue to death, gang --

I have one of the old K7 Elements boxes, have never installed or registered it. It comes with a $60 e-voucher, made available after registration.

I'm REALLY interested in getting DAMAGE, and am wondering if anyone has succeeded in using this voucher (or, I guess, any non-paper $60 e-voucher) to get the extra $60 off the discounted price, as the answers upthread seem to be all over the place.

If not, I guess I'll try for the $30 one that Photo-G and Dusted William so awesomely surfaced.

Thanks!
