Thanks for the offer Telsonik, its really appreciated.Teksonik wrote:As I said in my PM I don't see how making a copy of the orange skin and then colorizing the few background pages would be that labor intensive. I could color all the background pages in just a matter of a few minutes. There's no need to create a whole new skin with new knobs, pages etc.Lotuzia wrote: I say invest on purpose, because please understand that this would come at a non neglectable cost ( Due to our graphic technologies, time of development to code skins, and the fact that our graphic artist is independant ) we'll first have to see if Oxium is at least .... a bit successfull. ( Crossing fingers )
I've done this time and again with plugins that allow access to their graphics resource files (Rapture it the example I gave)and I'll gladly volunteer to do it for free with the Oxium background .pngs or .bmps. I can't imagine how much different Oxium's skinning system could be that it would require hours of work by a highly paid professional just to make a couple of color edits.
But if it can't be done then it can't be done.
Well as I said its not as easy as that I'm afraid, but, anyway, what I propose is that when the demo is out ( wich should be July 7th) everyone test the orange or grey skin, and see if they can work with it without eye fatigue ( so leaving the aesthetic side of things out of the eventual problem)
Then after this I'm confident a solution will be found ( and also theres a possibility that you wont like the synth that much so this has to be taken into consideration as well )
