First, thanks for the updates in the filter and the dual pan in the utility : nice !

I think i may have noticed a bug : MXXX crashes reaper and usine on my system if i try to load the settings > midi settings panel. OS is win 7.

I notice MultibandGranular only has two voices, well maybe the granulator in MXXX could be the same with just two voices.
In the end, i realised it's better to adapt the grain size to the sound you want to achieve with each voice, so i end up using two instances of the granulator instead of using the 4 voices of one granulator. I don't know if other people feal the same way ?

I was hoping for the hold function in the delay, a sampler/looper is really the thing that i miss the most in MXXXX at the moment.

Well i guess it's preset building time now !
:)

Well in fact i can't open the midi settings in MXXX 7 + the whole creative bundle v7. Can it be something in my setup, or a problem with the plugin installation ?

Same thing here. It crashes Reaper every time. I'm on Win XP

Most probably a bug that slipped through.

Although MXXX is not really designed for that, i've been trying to make a standard instrument effect chain in MXXX and here are my observations :

- There's a problem when using the "modular" processor, i'll try to explain.
If you insert a utility processor on the grid, it will be called "utility 1".
Now insert a modular processor in the grid and insert a utility inside this modular. This utility will also be called "utility 1".
Now do a modulation learn on one of the parameters of this utility inside the modular. It works.
Now bypass MXXX, unbypass MXXX : surprise it's not modulating the utility 1 inside the modular, but the "other" utility 1 !
When using modular, MXXX looses count of the "processor number" and gets really confused when trying to modulate something (it will change from one to another).

- It would be interesting to have the possibility to rename the modular processor in the grid, or add some text after it just so that we know what's inside especially when using several modular processors.

- Something strange i noticed, for example it takes almost no cpu to modulate a filter frequency when the filter is alone in the grid. But it can take 15% cpu to do exactly the same modulation when the full fx chain is loaded in the grid. So in that case it is more cpu efficient to use multiple instances of MXXX with simple effect chains than to use one instance with a complex chain in it.

Oscillator : this was probably already asked for but there it goes, you could add a sequencer (similar to the sequencer in the granulator) so that it becomes possible to play sequenced melodies with the oscillator.

MXXX definitely gets confused when modulating processors that are both in the main modular grid and in a Modular processor.

When a Modular processor is inserted, maybe it should show up in the modulator parameter select list as an expandable folder containing all the processors inserted within it. Also the editor panel names should be something like Modular 1 Utility 1 or Mod 1 Utility 1.

Ok, so:

1) Modular ID - true, bug :), will be solved in the final 7.00, today/tomorrow.

2) Naming - Well, maybe later, no time now , also there would be quite a few problems.

3) CPU - that's normal, for modulation and feedback the whole structure must be subdivided into smaller blocks increasing CPU usage. But NOTE!!!!!!!!!! Filter processor IS NOT supposed to be used like this, you use it as bandpass!! Filter has a sidechain, which is supposed to be the control signal for frequncy and Q! Therefore no subdivisions, no CPU increase and higher audio quality.

Probably not, this should be done for the dedicated synth.

Ok i understand. The sidechain works fine, but what's turning me away from it is the absence of visual representation of what's happening with the filter and Q modulation.

- Like it was already mentionned, it's a bummer that the individual processors can't be turned on and off individully by a multiparameter or by midi to save CPU.
But maybe it would be possible to add this feature to the "modular" processor ?
Since it's a container for the other processors maybe it could be used to turn them of or set them to bypass so that they are not consuming cpu. Or maybe it's not possible because of the structure thing ? :)

- MXXX reverb : it can get really loud with the max gain before the saturation module to get saturated reverbs.
MMultibandreverb has an output gain and -24 dB is barely enough gain reduction when using the saturation and some eq settings on the full wet reverb.

So i would propose the addition of an output gain on the MXXX reverb.
