Why dont you move your VstPlugIns folder to the USB stick?

Why dont you move your VstPlugIns folder to the USB stick?
I did it once and a lot of plugins were working until I tried on another PC and some of them didn't. So just moving without a second PC to test it may give me a wrong idea.
Maybe something with the registry.
I don't have a second PC at hand right now and I'm trying to avoid surprises.
So, yes is a PC.
