There was a "midi settings" bug that was fixed with the final v7.0, are you sure you are using the final version ?

Well,
the plugin was 7.00b
I see new release is now 7.00. ( strange way of naming releases...)
It must have been updated less than 9 days ago.
I can open Midi settings now !
Thanks for pointing me this, I would have never checked for such a quick update.
my best and have fun,
Luca

Just reinstalled it after a few years away.unguitar wrote:is there anyone here using Audiomulch ?
Have been messing with demo versions of Melda's Granular and Harmonizer plugs to see if they are for me.
Have to say they don't seem to work that well in AM.
CPU shows 20+% but they start glitching. I've put buffer up to seemingly no result.
The Metasurface won't work for either of them which is a shame.
AU versions are mono input also.
Not having problems using with DSP Quattro 4 or Max 6 so far, beyond the Granular being a CPU hog.
What is your Q?

I just wanted to double check if the heavy Cpu hit I was noticing was replicable in other Audiomulch systems.
So this is exactly my feeling, it looks like this plugin don't like Audiomulch ( which is making giant steps ahead while keeping its identity and focus) at all.
it's a pity, I love Melda Production Granulator but I doubt it has a sense to underuse it ( as suggested on a parallel thread) to make it have an acceptable performance, though it is tempting.
thx

Never heard of Audiomulch before, seems like some kind of modular system. In that case I'd suggest asking their support on buffer sizes - the lower the buffer size is, the higher the CPU requirements. How much, that depends on the plugin, but in all cases it grows a lot...

I hope this is the chance for you to know the work of Ross Bencina.
I think you may appreciate his vision.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Well there might be some gains for the VST version of Melda Granular.
Running 48khz with 1024 buffer. (with a 512 buffer I get the flashing red CPU load)
Running a loop player through it I can setup preset snapshots and interpolate between them in the Metasurface without any CPU glitches. CPU moves between 9% and 24%
The AUs are all announced as mono to stereo except for Granular and Reverb - the Metasurface cannot reach their parameters.

I am afraid I am meeting a very simple problem.
Where in the GUI do I see the loaded preset name ?
