I ordered Diva at 2 am last night. 11 hours later I am still waiting for a registration code. Why? Because Share-it is conducting a review of my order. It really is a travesty that the only way to buy U-he software is through a company as incompetent as Share-it. How hard can it be to offer a direct Paypal option on your own site?

The wait will be forgotten once Diva sings with her 'virtual analogue goodness'...

Sometimes there is a delay, belong the kind of payment!
For example, bank wire transfer takes in some cases 1-2 days time till the payment is done sucessfully - and logical, ShareIt will only set the order to "paid" if the payment received them...

So don't always blaim ShareIt as sooo bad, it isn't - AND it is better as directly Paypal Button. Because:

ShareIt includes payments via Paypal
Paypal in general is different from country to country, with also different internal termns. And some years ago, just an example - Paypal germany allows the user's only to make a buy/order page in german language. Which was pretty shit!

What would you prefer? A payment system which supports a bunch of different languages (which is good for the users!) with a high safety level for the seller and additional options like crossgrade, promo codes etc
or
a payment option which in some cases don't allow an english order page? And no crossgrade, extended downloads, promo codes and more?

I agree. Share-it was not always this bad though.
At first in fact, they were great.
It's been going down hill since they started that anti-free email thing though, and never recovered.
Paypal on the other hand, use to be terrible, but have improved over the last few years.
It is true that Share-it is better for the seller, and paypal better for the buyer though...so.
You can directly contact the seller though, if it doesn't go through, and get the order done fast that way as well, using personal paypal method.

btw: My experience being that of being rejected by Share-it many times in the last 2 years, even with a paid for email, and verified paypal business account.
But before with aan unverified pp account, and using a free email account, I had no problems. They definitely have bad service. Regardless of their benefits.
Maybe things changed since January though, but I doubt it.

Some news on this.

We now have an account manager at ShareIt and I'm discussing those things.

We'll be able to reduce the security to a bearable amount of suspicion and we'll be able to do fixed prices in any currency. He's also invetigating previously reported issues with currency conversion.

We're doing the launch of The Dark Zebra with ShareIt and we'll see how it goes. If it's smooth we'll stay, if it's bad we'll go. If it's allright then we'll at least add FastSpring as an alternative (my preferred solution anyway).

Great to hear. As for my experience with Share-It I got my serials for Diva within an hour of ordering. I just went off and played some Xbox Live for a couple hours came back and found my stuff loaded it up and had a blast with Diva. But when I got Sylenth it wasn't as fun.

I've been asking for a 50 euro refund for a canceled order since April 2010... Decided asking about it again today, "We have forwarded again your request for a refund for this order to the responsible department." ......... Ain't doing any business with or through them before I get that in order.
